LFB community website
Only Authority employees can register and view the LFB Carers Connect website. The Authority ensures this by accepting only LFB email addresses during the registration process. If the email address provided does not carry an LFB extension then it will be automatically rejected by the system.
Personal information
- LFB respects the privacy of visitors. Any information we collect about you will be stored securely and dealt with in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
- Although your LFB email address is required to register to use the website it is up to you to decide whether you would like to use your own name or a forum name when you are making contributions to the LFB Carers Connect Forum. To see how you can select your own forum name or change your password please read our “How to register and amend your profile” section. For your own security it is recommended that you log out of the website completely after use.
- With respect to our users and to ensure and secure their anonymity LFB and/or the LFB Carers Connect Forum Moderator(s) will not match your registration email address with your forum name unless you have failed to comply with the Terms of Use and/or the Forum House Rules and Conditions.
Third parties
LFB will keep all personal information secure and will not disclose your personal details to anyone else without your consent unless the Authority is legally required to do so.
